And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat WORSHIPPED him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” (Matthew 14:32-33)

This passage is the familiar story of Jesus walking on water, in the midst of the storm.

Imagine being one of the disciples in the both and watching Jesus and Peter climb back into the boat after walking on water. They had been walking with Jesus; and, had seen many of His miracles. This miracle brought new revelation of Lord’s sovereignty and control. They saw Jesus walk on water; and also watched Peter do the same.

Notice their response, worship! Our response to God’s sovereignty is always worship. As we continue to fast, and seek more of His face, He is faithful to reveal more of Himself to us. That revelation should leave us in awe of HIM.

When we see the Lord moving in the lives of our brothers/sisters, our response is worship. When we hear testimonies of God’s goodness, our response is worship.

I think you get the point by now. 😉

As God reveals more himself to us, it should drive us to WORSHIP him.

So your prayer today is simple:

Father, reveal MORE of yourself to me so that I may worship you!
