DAY 14: WALKING FAITHFULLY
By: Pastor Wes Torchon
January 18, 2026
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life." (Genesis 17:1)
Abram encountered God and knew what God had promised him. He listened to his wife and thought he could help God. God appeared to Abram and said, "Enough is enough. Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life before me!”
God was telling Abram, I have great plans for you, but to fulfill them, I need you to walk faithfully before me. God was asking Abram to “walk in my presence. Have an awareness that I am always right there. Live a life of integrity, complete devotion, and faithfulness to me.”
Abram's response to God in verse 3 was to fall face down, indicating a complete surrender to God. How will you respond to God’s call for you to walk faithfully and blamelessly before him? What areas in your life do you need to surrender? God is faithful and will meet us where we are; we need to make up our minds if we want Him to meet us.
Prayer
Father God, my mind is made up to walk before you faithfully and blamelessly! Reveal to me areas in my life that I need to surrender, and give me the courage to lay them down!
Love,
PWes
