And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read. (Luke 4:16)

In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place and was praying there. (Mark 1:35)

Jesus had sacred times and disciplines. When we love someone, we intentionally set aside time to be with them.

Remember when time with Jesus was holy and set apart—church, prayer, time in the Word? Somewhere along the way, these sacred moments became optional. We began fitting God into our schedules instead of building our schedules around Him.

Today, reclaim your sacred time. Take out your calendar and set time apart for Jesus. Let it be holy. Let it be intentional.

He will meet you there.
